Foster Care Information Sessions – July 2025

Interested in becoming a foster parent? Join us this July for one of our Foster Care Information Sessions designed to answer your questions and guide you through the process of becoming licensed.

Each session will include:

  • An overview of our foster care program

  • How to become licensed and what’s required

  • Step-by-step details about the licensing process

  • The role of our case managers

  • How we work with your local County DSS

  • Explanation of both licensing options:

    • Deciding Together

    • Trauma-Informed MAPP

🗓️ Session Schedule:

  • July 9 – In-Person

  • July 16 – Virtual (Zoom)

  • July 23 – In-Person

  • July 30 – In-Person

🕕 All sessions begin at 6:00 PM
📝 Pre-registration is required for all sessions

📍 In-Person Sessions Location:
Foster Care Office at American Children’s Home
3844 NC Hwy 8, Lexington, NC 27292
Please use the side entrance on Jr Order Home Road and proceed to the second house on the left.
Light refreshments will be provided.

💻 Virtual Session (July 16):
Will be held via Zoom. A link will be sent upon registration.
