We know the idea of becoming a foster parent can feel overwhelming — especially when you're juggling work, family, and everything else life throws your way. But you don’t have to figure it out alone.​

 

At ACH, we walk with you every step of the way. Our Foster Care program is built to work with your schedule and give you all the support and guidance you need to succeed.

What to Expect From the Process

We offer two flexible training options to help you decide if fostering is right for you:

Laughing During a Meeting

MAPP (Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting) 

A trusted, in-depth group training that helps you:

  • Understand the foster care system

  • Build essential parenting skills

  • Make an informed decision about fostering

Deciding Together

Prefer a more personal approach? This one-on-one program offers private, guided meetings that fit your pace and schedule. It’s tailored to your needs — but still covers everything you need to know to become a confident, prepared foster parent.
